Lockheed Martin has promoted Stephanie C. Hill, who heads its Middle River plant, to lead the Bethesda defense giant’s global corporate strategy and business development.

Hill, 52, is well-known locally as chair of the Greater Baltimore Committee, the region’s business advocacy group. She earned a bachelor’s of science in computer science and economics from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
In her new role as senior vice president, she will oversee “global business strategies and overseeing the corporation’s efforts in identifying, assessing, qualifying, and pursuing new business opportunities.” Hill will also be a corporate officer. The new roles are effective Sept. 11. More…
