The Orlando Magic continued their rush through the postseason, blasting the Atlanta Hawks, 105-75, in Game 3 of their Eastern Conference semifinal matchup at Atlanta’s Phillips Arena on Saturday, May 8. Orlando now holds a 3-0 series lead.

Orlando led 52-33 at halftime as Atlanta’s home fans booed the team mercilessly. Atlanta has lost each game of this series by an average of 29 points, including by 43 points in Game 1.

With the win, Orlando has now won 13 straight games dating back to the regular season and remains the only unbeaten team in the postseason. Rashard Lewis led Orlando with 22 points and demolished Atlanta’s spirits throughout the night with four three pointers.

Atlanta shooting guard Joe Johnson was booed often as he made only 3-of-15 shots and finished with eight points. Johnson has struggled mightily throughout the series, averaging only 12.3 points per game and shooting 29 percent from the field.

Johnson, who will be a free agent at the conclusion of the season, may have already punched his ticket out of town when he expressed his feelings about being booed to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution

“That doesn’t bother me, and I hope it doesn’t bother anyone in this locker room,” Johnson told the paper. “It’s about us in this locker room. We could care less if showed up.”
