It hasn’t taken singer Mariah Carey long to get over soon-to-be ex-husband Nick Cannon, as she is reportedly already talking about marriage with her new boyfriend.
Carey has her eye on Australian millionaire James Packer, who inherited his family company with investments in Crown Resorts, Ratpac Entertainment and other companies. Packer’s wealth is listed at $4.83 billion, according to BRW Magazine.
Carey is still legally married to Cannon, so the couple would have to wait to walk down the aisle.
According to TMZ, Packer fell for Carey at one of her concerts in Vegas and has been chasing her ever since. The two have only been seeing each other for a short time and are already traveling the world together.
Despite some reports of marriage talk, a source close to the new couple told E! News there are no such plans.
“They are not talking marriage,” the source said. “That’s ridiculous. She’s enjoying his company, but she’s also trying to remain cautious. This trip is a chance for her to really get to know him. She hasn’t 100 percent let him in yet.”
