ANNAPOLIS— Maryland drivers saw an immediate reduction in their gas prices Thursday as Republican Gov. Larry Hogan signed into law a 30-day moratorium on the state’s tax on fuel. The 37-cent reduction is one of the first in the nation and one of the rare few since policy makers and politicians began debating the idea of gas tax holidays more than 25 years ago.
