The Maryland Insurance Administration will be participating in a variety of community events in Prince George’s County to offer insurance information to consumers.

Offering an array of information on annuities, title insurance and homeowners’ insurance, trained staff will also be available to answer any personal questions consumers may have.

“Education and consumer awareness are key factors to your financial security and to a healthy insurance market,” Beth Samuels, acting Maryland insurance commissioner said in a press release. “The better consumers understand the products and policies available to them, the better purchasing decisions they will make and the better protection they will have in the event of a loss or accident.”
