Cardin to Discuss Small Business Priorities with Annapolis and Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce
Monday, June 15 at 12:30 PM, U.S. Senator Ben Cardin (D-Md.), a senior member of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship and member of the Senate Finance Committee, will join the Annapolis and Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce for a wide-ranging discussion on issues impacting small businesses in the area. Senator Cardin and business leaders will exchange ideas on how the federal government can be a better partner in assisting Marylanders as they strive to be the best and most innovative in their fields.
“From government contracting to transportation projects, the tax code and education funding, the federal government can and should play a strong role in helping small businesses succeed,” said Senator Cardin. “I look forward to hearing from members of the chamber, small business owners and elected officials about which policies work, which don’t, and what new ideas could help spark innovation and job growth.”
