Comptroller Franchot to Present Proclamation to Critchlow Adkins Children’s Center in Talbot

-Comptroller to Offer Congratulations on CACC’s 45th Anniversary-

WHAT:           Comptroller Peter Franchot will visit the Critchlow Adkins Children’s Center (CACC) at its preschool site in Easton Monday morning and present a proclamation to celebrate its 45th anniversary to Executive Director Kris George, the staff and board. The center, which has additional locations in Cordova, Easton Elementary, St. Michaels and White Marsh, began in 1970 at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Easton by Happy Critchlow and the late Janice Adkins. With quality early childhood programs and before and after school programs, CACC has enriched the lives of more than 8,000 children, providing more than $2 million in tuition scholarship to more than 3,000 families.
