Comptroller Franchot to Present Proclamations to Glen Burnie Restaurant and Garden Center

WHAT: Comptroller Franchot will present proclamations to two longtime Glen Burnie businesses Tuesday afternoon. Mr. Franchot first will stop by the Sunset Restaurant, which opened in 1960, and is owned and operated by Otts Fratantuono, and his family. Well known for its generous portions and specialties such as cream of crab soup, the restaurant is a dining destination for local residents, politicians and celebrities.
The Comptroller then will visit Evergreen Gene’s, owned by the Hudson brothers. The nursery has served the Glen Burnie area for 50 years offering quality plants, flowers, trees and landscaping supplies. The garden center also offers landscaping, lawn maintenance and hardscaping services.
