Comptroller Franchot to Speak at 49th Annual Salvation Army Holiday Gift Presentation

WHAT: Comptroller Franchot will speak and present gifts to the Salvation Army Tuesday morning as part of the agency’s annual Holiday Gift Presentation to need families, which is now in its 49th year. The holiday music and festivities begin at 10 a.m. in the front lobby of the Louis L. Goldstein Treasury Building, including performances by the Annapolis and Baltimore Comptroller’s Choirs and the Annapolis High School Chamber Ensemble and Chorus under the director of Matthew Francis. Thirteen families and 13 seniors will enjoy gifts and a holiday dinner because of contributions from state employees throughout the year.
