Comptroller to Promote Shop Maryland Energy Weekend Feb. 13 to 15

WHAT: Comptroller Franchot will visit stores in Pikesville and a Rosedale as part of his annual Shop Maryland Energy tour Thursday afternoon. During the weekend event, Feb. 13 to 15, air conditioners, washers and dryers, furnaces, heat pumps, standard-size refrigerators, compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFL), light-emitting diode LED light bulbs, dehumidifiers and programmable thermostats meeting or exceeding the applicable ENERGY STAR efficiency requirement will be tax-free.
