WHAT: Comptroller Franchot will participate in the Anne Arundel County Public Library’s annual Read Across America event on Wednesday morning in honor of Dr. Seuss’ Birthday. The Comptroller is one of the featured guests who will read to second-grade students from Walter S. Mills-Parole Elementary School in Annapolis. Read Across America is sponsored by the National Education Association and celebrates Dr. Seuss’s birthday and the benefits of reading.
