Franchot to Tour Airport and Honor Local Business
WHO: Comptroller Peter Franchot
WHAT: Comptroller Franchot will visit the Glenn L. Martin Airport Museum on Friday, where he will see the two main galleries, archives and airplanes at Strawberry Point. Founded in 1990, the museum is a private, all-volunteer nonprofit dedicated to the promotion, preservation and documentation of aviation and space history in Maryland.
Afterward, the Comptroller will present a proclamation to John Kanellopolos, owner of By the Docks Restaurant, in recognition of the business’ success in Middle River. By The Docks is known for its eight-ounce Colossal Jumbo Lump Crab Cake and for using fresh ingredients for its seafood, steaks, pastas and made-from-scratch sauces, soups and dressings.
