Comptroller to Present Proclamation to Annapolis’ Naval Bagels

WHAT: Comptroller Franchot will present a proclamation to Naval Bagel owners, Sean and Dara Adams, for their entrepreneurial spirit and the success of their 14-year-old bagel shop in Annapolis. He also will recognize the couple’s commitment to supporting local charitable events. The family-run business is a full-service bagel shop featuring bagels made the old-fashioned way — boiled and baked, a true water bagel. The shop also serves soups, salads and a variety of sandwiches. Naval Bagels has earned “Best Bagel” awards from What’s Up Magazine and the Capital Gazette newspaper. The Adams sponsor numerous charity events including local school auctions, cancer benefits and local running races as well as Naval Academy Athletics and the Chesapeake Bayhawks.
