Edwards to Host Homebuyers Fair
Information for those seeking to buy a home after foreclosure/short sale/bankruptcy and for first-time homebuyers
Washington, D.C. – On Saturday, September 20, 2014, Congresswoman Donna F. Edwards (MD-4) will host an informational fair for those seeking to buy a home after foreclosure/short sale/bankruptcy and for first-time homebuyers. Participants will have opportunities to learn about HUD programs like Back-to-Work and Homeowners Armed with Knowledge (HAWK), and Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac’s Programs for first-time homebuyers. This fair will arm individual consumers with invaluable knowledge as they navigate today’s complex housing market, and in turn will support the regional and nationwide housing market that is essential to a healthy economy.
