Comptroller Franchot Named Goucher College’s Politician-in-Residence

-Comptroller to Begin Residency with Guest Lecture-

WHO:             Comptroller Peter Franchot

WHAT:           Maryland State Comptroller Peter Franchot will serve as the 2015-16 Sarah T. Hughes Field Politics Center politician-in-residence at Goucher College. The Comptroller will begin his residency on Monday, September 14th with a guest lecture to a political science class. The goal of the program is to teach students practical politics through direct interaction with a Maryland politician. The Sarah T. Hughes Field Politics Center sponsors a variety of activities designed to facilitate student involvement in governmental and political affairs. Goucher College is a private, co-educational, liberal arts college in Towson.
