Franchot to Present Comptroller’s Cup to Washington County Vineyard
– Comptroller to Congratulate Big Cork Vineyards –

WHAT: Comptroller Peter Franchot will present the Maryland Wineries Association’s Comptroller’s Cup to Big Cork Vineyards Thursday afternoon. Owner Randy Thompson and vintner Dave Collins will accept this new award. In May, Big Cork Vineyards won “Best in Show” for its 2014 Chardonnay at the 2015 Winemasters Choice Competition in Timonium. While at Big Cork Vineyards, Comptroller Franchot also will tour its facilities.
