Franchot to Visit Fall Festivals on Saturday
Fells Point Fun Festival and Taste of Bethesda draw tens of thousands of attendees

WHAT: On Saturday afternoon, the Comptroller will stop by the Fells Point Fun Festival, which has grown from a small neighborhood gathering 50 years ago into one of the Baltimore region’s premier annual events. Over the course of three days, patrons can enjoy live entertainment on four stages, a Kids Zone and numerous vendors who will line Thames Street.
Later in the day, Mr. Franchot will stroll through Taste of Bethesda, a prominent food and music festival that features cuisine from about 50 area restaurants, in addition to five stages with live music and other entertainment for adults and children. The event, which draws more than 40,000 attendees, takes place along Norfolk, St. Elmo, Cordell, Del Ray and Auburn avenues in Woodmont Triangle.
