As the criminal trials begin in Baltimore for the case of Freddie Gray, systematic police reform is necessary not only in Baltimore, but nationwide. Senator Cardin has introduced the End Racial Profiling Act, the BALTIMORE Act, and Law Enforcement Trust and Integrity Act. Attorney General Frosh has promulgated guidance prohibiting discriminatory profiling by law enforcement in Maryland.
