Cardin to Hear from Students at Johns Hopkins University on the Iran Nuclear Agreement
TOMORROW, Tuesday, September 1 at 10:00 AM, U.S. Senator Ben Cardin (D-Md.) will join Johns Hopkins University (JHU) President Ronald J. Daniels and JHU students for a conversation on the nuclear agreement with Iran. This roundtable is an important part of Senator Cardin’s consideration of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and is not an opportunity for him to announce his support or opposition. As the Ranking Member on the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, Senator Cardin has examined the JCPOA carefully, reached out to experts and continues to seek the perspectives of a diverse range of Marylanders.
