The Daniel Payne Community Development Corporation and the Metropolitan AME Church will host an Evening of Jazz on Feb. 27 in recognition of the presence and culture of music in Black history. The event will be held at the church, located at 1518 M Street N.W. The event will include Jazz performers Christie Dashiell, George V. Johnson Jr. and the N Tyme Jazz Ensemble. Admission and parking are free.
