The Morgan State University women’s basketball team lost its fourth straight game after being hammered 104-74 by Missouri State University on Dec. 18 in Springfield, Missouri.

Morgan State had three players score double digits in points as senior guard Omara Parker led with 23 points; freshman guard Tracey Carrington scored 13 points and senior guard DeKeisha Mathis followed with 11.

But Missouri State carried a deeper cast of scorers as four different players put up double-digits in points, including senior guard Casey Garrison with 28 points, junior forward Christiana Shorter with 17 points, senior guard Jaleishia Roberson with 15 points, and junior guard Whitney Edie with 10. Missouri State (6-3 overall) finished the game shooting 57 percent from the field while Morgan State struggled below 36 percent shooting.

Morgan State will attempt to snap the four-game losing slump when they take on Arkansas University on Dec. 19 at Hill Field House in Baltimore, Md.
