Mount Calvary Baptist Church, located at 608 North Horners Lane, is scheduled to kick off their HBCU Week 2017 with the HBCU Gospel Music Festival on Oct. 28 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. Featured music groups include the Howard University Gospel Choir, Next Generation of Praise Choir and the Virginia State University Gospel Chorale. This event is free.
