On May 25, the Baltimore City Branch of the NAACP will hold its general monthly meeting. At the event, NAACP members, various organizations and residents of the community will hold a panel discussion on bullying in the Baltimore City Public School System (BCPSS).

Joining in on the discussion is the Baltimore City Health Department, BCPSS, Children and Family Services and the Community Conferencing Center, among many other organizations.

The panel discussion is in response to the many recent cases of bullying that have been reported in Baltimore.

“It is imperative that we closely scrutinize the school systems protocol related to bullying, hear from experts on this subject matter and determine what parents and the community must do to be of assistance,” NAACP Baltimore City Branch President Dr. Marvin L. Cheatham said in a press release.

The panel discussion will be held at Union Baptist Church, 1219 Druid Hill Ave., Baltimore. For more information call: 410-366-3300.
