The fifth annual “Feed the DMV 2017 Annual Holiday Homeless Initiative” is scheduled to take place on Nov. 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 2002 Fenwick St., NE. Volunteers will gather together to prepare and package simple meals and toiletry bags, and then head out to the city to hand deliver them to those in need. All proceeds and donations will go to purchasing the items needed to prepare simple lunch meals and bags of toiletries that will be delivered to the homeless during the event and throughout the holiday season.
