Nia Long recently received a new addition to her family.

According to E! News, the actress and her international basketball player beau Ime Udoka who formerly played with the NBA’s San Antonio Spurs, welcomed a son on Nov. 7, Long’s rep confirmed.

The baby boy, named Kez Sunday Udoka, is Long’s second child. She also has a 10-year-old from a previous relationship. The new baby is Udoka’s first child.
Long revealed that she was pregnant back in June.

“This is the most exciting time in our lives,” Long and Udoka told People magazine at the beginning of her pregnancy. “Words can’t explain how thrilled we are by the new addition to our family. We feel truly blessed and appreciate all the well wishes and prayers.”

In October, the 40-year-old actress proudly displayed her baby bump and posed nude for this month’s edition of Ebony magazine.

In the issue, Long detailed her pregnancy and discussed how she and Udoka were handling the changes. She also gave her views on mothers giving birth past a certain age.

“The medical profession tries to tell every woman, ‘Have your babies before 40…’ Society says, ‘Get married before 30…’ I think we just take our time as women, and do what comes natural to us and for us, we would make fewer mistakes,” she said.
