When a baby is born, families almost always want to know who the baby looks like. DNA, passed from parents to offspring, contains specific traits from genes. While children may physically resemble their parents in one way or another, their spiritual DNA is constructed by God. When we build our children from the inside out, they have a better understanding of who they are and whose they are. They are uniquely designed to reflect the image of the invisible God. No one has seen God; but, we see God’s reflection everywhere we look.

Don’t let your kids get caught up in whether they look like mommy or daddy. Remind them that they are created in the image of the eternal King that has created the universe; they are God’s royal heirs.
