Governor Larry Hogan Attends Gold Star Families Memorial Monument Dedication
ANNAPOLIS, MD – Governor Larry Hogan and Lt. Governor Boyd Rutherford were joined today at the Gold Star Families Memorial Monument dedication by Medal of Honor recipient Hershel “Woody” Williams, Maryland Secretary of Veterans Affairs George Owings, Gold Star Mothers Maryland Chapter President Janice Chance, and numerous Gold Star Families.
The monument was made possible through the Hershel “Woody” Williams Medal of Honor Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that encourages establishing permanent Gold Star Family Memorial Monuments in communities around the country.
