Governor Larry Hogan Welcomes Second Group of Garden Clubs to State House
Christmas Trees from All 24 Maryland Jurisdictions Will Be Showcased in Rotunda

ANNAPOLIS, MD – Governor Larry Hogan and First Lady Yumi Hogan concluded a two-day Christmas treedecorating event this afternoon, and welcomed members of garden clubs from the 12 remaining Maryland counties to the State House. Today, each of the following garden clubs personally delivered and decorated a Christmas tree to adorn the State House rotunda, bringing the grand total of trees to 24:

Worcester County: Worcester Garden Club
Charles County: La Plata Garden Club
Baltimore County: Monkton Garden Club
Harford County: Country Garden Club of Harford County
Talbot County: Oxford Garden Club
Cecil County: Greenfingers Garden Club
Washington County: Hagerstown Garden Club
Anne Arundel County: Four Rivers Garden Club
Queen Anne’s County: Queen Anne’s County Garden Club, Kent Island Garden Club
Caroline County: Caroline County Garden Club
Garrett County: Mountain Laurel Garden Club
St. Mary’s County: St. Mary’s Garden Club

The governor and first lady also presented a certificate of appreciation and Christmas ornaments to each club.
