Towson Branch of Maryland Comptroller’s Office Re-Opens Monday at Noon

   Office Restored Following Water Damage Caused by Snowstorm

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (January 29, 2016) – The Comptroller’s Branch Office in Towson will re-open at noon Monday after being closed due to weather-related issues. The office will resume regular office hours for the week beginning Tuesday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The storm affected several branches, but all Comptroller offices now are open in Annapolis, Baltimore, Cumberland, Elkton, Frederick, Hagerstown, Landover, Salisbury, Upper Marlboro, Waldorf and Wheaton. Regular hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.daily. Taxpayers in need of free state tax assistance can continue to call the taxpayer services line from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 1-800-MD TAXES, or 410-260-7980.
