PG Youth Summer Enrichment

In partnership with the Prince George’s County Office of Human Resources Management’s Summer Youth Enrichment Program, and as sub-component of the Tech Prince Georges initiative, the Office of Information Technology has partnered with higher education institutions and the private industry to provide its summer youth with valuable hands-on expertise and the opportunity to demonstrate that technology can play a significant role in providing innovative solutions to community challenges, along with improving the quality of life for residents and businesses of the county.  Resulting from the 6-week program, participants will compete in a Summer Youth Faceoff “The Barracuda Bowl” scheduled to occur on Aug. 12 at 10 a.m. The competition will determine the best innovative solutions to help improve county communities. The event will be co-hosted by County Executive Rushern L. Baker, III.  The location of the ceremony will be at the Prince George’s County Economic Development Corporation, 1801 McCormick Drive, Suite 140.
