Hello my dear friends, I just can’t enough of this weather. It is not only perfect weather to party, but it is also perfect weather to travel. I have a few trips to tell you about, but you have to call and make reservations right away.

One of these trips is a bus trip to Crab Claw Restaurant, in St Michaels. Girlfriend, let me tell you this is a nice trip! I went last year and am going again this year. The Fullwood Travel Unlimited sponsors this trip, scheduled for June 9. The price is very reasonable and it includes an open buffet meal, fruit, desserts and drinks; all the hot crabs and steamed shrimp you can eat; shopping downtown Main Street; plus transportation to Dover Downs Slots to try your luck. But you must call now to reserve your seat at 410-542-2530.

Another trip, if that doesn’t suit your fantasy, is “Riding the Party Bus to Atlanta, Georgia”? That’s right! From June 27 thru July 1, the trip includes open bar, tour Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, party at Tanqueray Lounge, shop at the Underground Mall, visit Stone Mountain, and many other tours. For either one of these trips, contact Stella or Everett Fullwood at 410-542-2530 or email stella@fullwoodtravel.com.

Oh, my goodness! This is very unique! The senior citizens and the residents of the Fr. Charles R. Uncles Senior Plaza on Pennsylvania Avenue with the Druid Heights Communities are having a Senior Prom. I do believe it was Calvin Talbot’s idea; he just loves keeping the senior citizens in his building active and enjoying their lives to the fullest as long as they can. This “Senior Prom” will take place on May 4th, 8 p.m. until midnight at St. Peter Claver. St. Pius Church Hall located 1210 Presstman St. in Baltimore. All are invited, dress in your best for an enchanting evening of fun, line dance contests, free oldie but goodie CD give-away, an exceptional dinner, door prizes and watch the senior citizens strut their thing as you party with them. For ticket information, call 443-872-0683. Or contact Jerilyn Manning at JManning@druidheights.com.

Keeping in the party mood, you must check out the Panama Band, if you have seen them you know that they are fantastic! They will take the roof off the Pikesville Community Center on April 21st, 40 E. Subbrook Lane. Showtime is 8 p.m. This event is cabaret style; bring your own bottle and bring your own food, free table set ups.

Panama is a self-contained group that all the musicians, not only play an instrument but sing, too. Their repertoire includes all types of music; Pop, Rhythm & Blues, Rock n’ Roll, Disco, Hip-Hop, Ballads, Raw Funk and Caribbean. There is not another group out like this one. This group has been around for over 25 years.

We must not forget that the historical Arch Social Club on Pennsylvania and North Avenues is still jumping up and down and doing the James Brown with dining, dancing, with live entertainment and socializing every Sunday. I just love the atmosphere of this club. Larry Washington, who is a long time member of the club, is hosting a tribute to the “Stroke Survival Group,” (because he is also a stroke survivor). The evening of dinner, dancing and live entertainment featuring the Arch Social Club new House Band, Phill Butt and Sunset Band will take place April 29th; 5-9 p.m. You can support the cause and have fun too. Call 410-669-9856 for more information.
