Hello, hello my dear friends. Let’s have some fun. There’s a lot going on this week as well as next week.

First, let us check out the Capital Jazz Fest, which is June 3-5. The Capital Jazz Fest is an annual music festival held at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Md., since 1993. The festival features live contemporary jazz and soul music on two big stages. The lineup for this year is awesome! Herbie Hancock, George Duke, David Sanborn, Natalie Cole, Boney James, Jonathan Butler, Larry Graham & Graham Central Station, Will Downing, Mary Mary, Najee, Take 6, Patti Austin, Michael Franks, War, Ruben Studdard and about 30 others — just too many to name. The Capital Jazz Fest multi-day, multi-stage outdoor event is more than just a concert, it’s a place to people-watch, eat, drink, shop, mingle, relax and have a time of your life. For more information, call 301-780-9300 or go to their website, www.capitaljazz.com.
