Rapper Jeffrey Williams, better known as “Young Thug,” cannot seem to catch a break as he is now being implicated in an attack on another rapper.

In April, Lil Wayne’s tour bus was shot up while it was driving along Interstate 285 in Cobb County, near Atlanta, Ga. No one was hurt. And recent reports are now suggesting that Young Thug and Bryan “Birdman” Williams – both members of Wayne’s estranged label Cash Money Records – have been named in an indictment surrounding the case, although no charges have been made.

The actual shooter in the incident, Jimmy Winfrey, is signed to Cash Money and made a phone call to Young Thug before the shooting and a call to Birdman after the shooting, according to The Associated Press.

On July 15, police exercised a search warrant at the younger Williams’ house in Sandy Springs, Ga., and issued arrest warrants for felony cocaine possession, felony marijuana possession and three counts felony gun possession, according to TMZ.

At the time the police searched the house, Williams was already in jail after being arrested by U.S. marshals early that morning for allegedly making terroristic threats.

According to TMZ, security at a mall in Georgia asked Williams to leave for unknown reasons.  As he was getting escorted out of the mall, Williams allegedly said he was going to shoot one of them in the face.  Williams left before the cops arrived, which caused a warrant to be put out for his arrest.  Although this incident occurred last week, it took a week for U.S. marshals to track him down and arrest him.
Young Thug posted $10,000 bail and was released from the Dekalb County Jail the same day.
