Black Women for Positive Change (BW4PC), a national, volunteer civic organization has produced a socially responsible video titled, “Red Flags in Domestic Violence.” The 30 minute video presents two victims of domestic violence who tell their stories on camera for the first time. In a joint statement BW4PC National Co-Chairs Dr. Stephanie Myers and Virginia Delegate Daun S. Hester said, “We want women and men who are potential victims of domestic violence, to know that there are Red Flags or warnings that can give them clues when it is time to get out of dangerous relationships. We have pretended this problem doesn’t exist too long and thousands of women, men and their children are suffering.”
