The Henrietta Lacks Legacy Group and former workers of Sparrows Point are having a roundtable dialogue about African Americans and their contributions to Sparrows Point. The goal of the HLLG is to preserve the history of African Americans who lived and worked in Sparrows Point and Turner Station during the industrial revolution. The dialogue will happen on Wed. Feb 25th at 1pm at the United Steel Workers Union Hall, 550 Dundalk Ave., Dundalk, Md. 21222. The author of From the Meadows to the Point, Louis S. Diggs will moderate the discussions.
