WHAT: Comptroller Franchot will make a stop Monday morning at Rise Up Coffee in Salisbury. The Comptroller, who visited the Easton shop earlier this year, will present a proclamation to manager Colin Eck and Assistant Manager Anissa Sego for the business’ entrepreneurial spirit and its continued growth on the Eastern Shore. Owned by Tim Cureton and Noah Kegley, Rise Up Coffee is an independent small-batch coffee roaster and retailer that employs 54 people at locations in Salisbury, Easton and St. Michaels.
