Made in MD: Cardin to Discuss Small Business Success with Towson Chamber of Commerce, Sample its Sweet Taste at La Cakerie
Monday, November 30, U.S. Senator Ben Cardin (D-Md.) will discuss issues related to promoting Maryland’s small businesses with the Towson Chamber of Commerce and visit the artisanal bakery La Cakerie to sample one local company’s distinctive recipe for growth. Part of Senator Cardin’s “Made in Maryland” jobs tour, which celebrates the diversity of Maryland products and the Marylanders who create them, Monday’s visits will help inform Senator Cardin’s ongoing efforts on the Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee to expand economic activity statewide.
The Towson Chamber promotes the business environment and quality of life in Towson and the surrounding area. The voluntary partnership of businesses and professionals works together to help local businesses prosper and grow, and to increase job opportunities. It encourages the responsible growth and development of all segments of the community, and aims to contribute to the overall economic stability of Baltimore County.
