Scenic Rivers Land Trust presents the 3rd Annual Breakfast Briefing on Conservation Easements for Tax, Legal and Real Estate Professionals on September 28th at 9 a.m. Join us for a continental breakfast and an overview of the legal and tax framework of conservation easements. Learn about significant income, property and estate tax benefits that might be available to clients. Program highlights include updates on a new grant program that adds a per-acre cash incentive to potential tax advantages for landowners who protect forests and/or plant trees. This grant program is funded by Anne Arundel County and managed by the Chesapeake Bay Trust.
