The video shows Brown, 25, flinching when the shots went off, followed by his entourage rushing him off the stage.
Five people were injured during the shooting, although nobody died.
San Jose police say state regulators suspended Fiesta Nightclub’s liquor license for 60 days beginning on Jan. 16.
Summer Flores, who was in attendance at the concert, told the Bay Area NBC affiliate,
“Everybody was having a good time … then I suddenly saw people were reaching down, I thought it was part of the show or something. I didn’t even hear the first gunshot, I kept on filming, then I heard ‘pop, pop, pop’ and I saw people hiding under the bar. Everybody was screaming and people started running, but I stayed.”
Amanda Rodriguez, told NBC, “I was right there in the front and his crew kicked everything off the stage and luckily I only got hit with a glass cup. But girls next to me got the tables thrown on them. It was horrible.”
Brown has canceled all future shows at venues with a history of violence and security issues, according to TMZ.
This is not the first time Brown has encountered violence at one of his events. In August 2014, Suge Knight was shot six times at a party Brown hosted.
