June 21, 2012) Singer Bobby Brown remarried June 18, just four months after the death of ex-wife Whitney Houston, who accidently drowned in a Beverly Hills, Calif. hotel bathtub.

Brown and his new wife, Alicia Etheredge, who also is his manager, were wed in Hawaii with New Edition colleagues, family and friends in attendance, according to Reuters.

Photos posted on Twitter show the blended family with the bride in white and the groom in a red suit and Adidas sneakers, according to Essence.com.

The newlyweds already have a three-year old son together, Cassius, who was born in 2009 and sported a child-sized version of the groom’s outfit. Brown’s children from a previous marriage, Bobby Jr., 19, Landon, 23 and La’Princia, 22, were all present for the ceremony.

Daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown from his marriage to Houston did not attend the ceremony, reported the Huffington Post, noting that she remained in New York City working on a reality show.
Reuters reported that the couple began dating after Brown’s 2007 divorce from Houston and became engaged in front of a live audience at a 2010 performance.

“I got my passion back for music and for loving myself because of her,” said Brown to People Magazine in a 2011 interview.

Brown and Houston were wed in 1992. The marriage lasted 15 years amid alleged rampant drug use, violent outbursts, and scores of court appearances.
