Each summer since 1991, the District and Baltimore metropolitan areas have hosted the ultimate family barbecues. Replete with famous entertainers, food, and vendors, the Stone Soul Picnic attracts thousands of families from across the region.

The 2010 showcase will be no different, with the legendary Original P Funk, Baltimore-based crooner Maysa, R&B heartthrob Bobby V., new kids on the block Cali Swag District, Jive recording artist K. Michelle, soulful singer Jazmine Sullivan and former Immature star Marques Houston set to take the stage in Baltimore on Aug. 14 at Druid Hill Park.

The following day, RFK stadium will rock with the sounds of go-go music legend Chuck Brown, “Overweight Lover” Heavy D, DMV native Ginuwine, singer Chico Debarge, gospel duo Mary Mary and “American Idol” alum Ruben Studdard.

The Stone Soul Picnic will be hosted by Radio One personalities from WKYS 93.9, Majic, Spirit 1340, Praise 104.1 and Newstalk 1450.
