The Lambda Kappa Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, in partnership with the Heritage Fellowship Church, is sponsoring a Stop Hunger Now Meal Packaging event on Nov. 21 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 2501 Fox Mill Road. The program will allow participants to combat hunger by funding and packaging high protein, healthy foods. Each meal package can feed up to six individuals and costs 29 cents.
