For 85 years T. Rowe Price has been a staple within the Baltimore community. Its presence and commitment to the city continues to grow as their mission evolves. Breaking ground on their new 550,00-square-foot head quarter facility, further displays the comfort of calling Baltimore home for the global investment organization. 

The new location will be at 1307 Point Street located in Baltimore’s Point Harbor community, and will serve dual purposes. In an effort to attract and retain top talent, the new building project is projected to create a pool of 1,600 jobs opportunities under the construction site side of the build.

The new location is being developed by the Beatty Development Group, the master developer of the 27-acre Harbor Point, in partnership with Armada Hoffler Properties. Other members of the development team include, Base Building Architects-Kohn Pederson Fox (KPF), Developer Architects-Beatty Harvey Coco (BHC), Base Building Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Engineers-JDB Engineering, Program Management-Jones Lang LaSalle, Interior Architects-Gensler, and Interiors MEP Engineer-Allen and Shariff. 

The building’s design is set to support T. Rowe Price’s collaborative culture by housing auditorium spaces, client conference centers, and meeting spaces of varying sizes, the company expects these state-of-the-art features to elements of retention for a new wave of talent.

The new facility is set to work as an environmentally safe space for lighting, water efficiency and cleanliness, and with the pursuit of its Fitwel certification, it could receive one of the highest workspace ratings possible. 

Set to open in 2024, T. Rowe Price is working to remain in the top of their class.
