Howard University president says more than 200 students readmitted after mass unenrollment

Howard University has readmitted more than 200 of the 502 incoming first-year students who were unenrolled ahead of the fall semester, with interim President Wayne A. I. Frederick saying the university followed its enrollment policies while working with families to resolve financial aid and documentation issues. The decision comes after widespread concern from students and parents, many of whom struggled to reach university officials as classes approached.
