N.Y. Attorney General Letitia James recuses herself from investigation into beating death of Robert L. Brooks

New York Attorney General Letitia James has recused herself from the investigation into the beating death of Robert L. Brooks and appointed Onondaga District Attorney William J. Fitzpatrick to handle the case, while Governor Kathy Hochul has ordered an immediate investigation and implemented several new policies at Marcy Correctional Facility to protect the safety of both inmates and employees.
