The Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Conference will be held on June 5th and 6th. This annual conference will include workshops, tours, guest speakers and a dinner to honor Harriet Tubman and other Underground Railroad workers who risked their lives to support freedom. Attendees to the conference will begin at the Harriet Tubman center at 424 Race Street in Cambridge. Workshops will be held at Chesapeake College, Cambridge Branch at 418 Race Street with almost two dozen topics from which to choose.   Millicent Sparks, writer/performer/producer will speak at the Celebration Banquet at Waugh United Methodist Street on High Street, sharing Harriet’s life and journey.
