HYATTSVIILLE, Md. – As families decorate with lights and garland, bake cookies, make wish lists and whistle songs of the season, it’s apparent the holiday season is here. And with it comes Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust’s (PREIT) multi-faceted holiday promotion at 40 participating shopping centers, including The Mall at Prince Georges.

With tidings of “Comfort and Joy,” the campaign offers shoppers special savings, convenient tools and gifts to help enjoy the holidays and relax after busy days of shopping and preparing for the season. Elements include a Gift with Purchase program, $2,500 vacation giveaway, customized holiday website and more.

“The holidays can be stressful and hectic, so we wanted to do something extra special to reward our shoppers and make the season more enjoyable, whether they are in The Mall at Prince Georges or visiting the mall’s website,” said Victoria Clark, mall marketing director, in a press release.

Through Dec. 19, shoppers will receive a free, festive gift to give to someone special or reward themselves, through the Gift with Purchase program series. Each week, a different item will be featured, while supplies last, to evoke “Comfort and Joy,” including a festive, 3.7 oz. Yankee Candle in a variety of holiday scents; Bath & Body Works “Oh So Cozy” shea-infused, scented socks and a Godiva Hot Cocoa Sampler Box with rich milk and dark chocolate cocoa packets. To receive the gift, shoppers must present same-day mall store receipts totaling $100 or more at The Mall at Prince Georges Customer Service Center.
