Former NAACP President Ben Jealous conceded defeat to Gov. Larry Hogan at the Hippodrome Theatre in Downtown Baltimore on Nov. 6. Hogan garnered 56.2 percent of the vote in Maryland, versus Jealous’ 42.8 percent, with 99 percent of precincts reporting. Hogan is only the second Republican in Maryland history to be re-elected as governor.
