In light of recent national events, The Triangle Offense, a three-part pop-up art series, has been curated to stimulate conversation around culture, class and perception through the eyes of millennials. The three shows will feature a number of local artists whose works seek to inform, inspire and engage people from a variety of backgrounds to have an open and honest dialogue on the issues that affect all.  The first show of the series, titled “Paradigm Shift: A Break from the Norm,” is a group exhibition featuring the work of four incredibly talented artists from all over the D.C. metropolitan area. It is scheduled to be held at The Fridge DC, 516 1/2 8th Street, SE on Aug. 13 from noon to 10 p.m. and Aug. 14 from noon to 6 p.m. The art show will focus on positive and negative aspects of cultural shifts that occur in the Black community. The show will also include an opening reception and an artist talk.
