The event is being held April 25 at the renowned Eubie Blake National Jazz Institute and Cultural Center, located 847 N. Howard Street, Baltimore, Md. Doors open at 5:30 pm. Tickets are $35 until March 8, $45 thereafter.
Lorraine Bailey-Carter is the founder and Chief Woman of Vision behind TWC, who hopes that this inaugural event, which is in support of scholarships and homeownership assistance grants for deserving women, is a success. “Pasta With A Purpose” was created as a way to get community involvement and participation to support women in need of financial assistance for college and homeownership,” says Bailey-Carter. “In order to help women and girls pursue these endeavors, they need help. TWC is ready to help, but as a small organization, we need community support to make it happen. We need YOU!”
